Restoran Čipas

Čipas has been around for a very long time, and I've been eating there for years. It's a legend of this city.

The prices

Especially in the beginning, a few years ago when inflation was lower, they had dishes for up to six KM, and they weren't small dishes: solid portions for that money. Now it's more than double the price, but still a lot cheaper than other restaurants.

The menu

The dishes are mostly based on chicken and pasta. They've widened it a bit now: they have burgers, quesadillas, even risotto. A varied menu, and the prices are really great. They have several locations around the city.

What I order

When I go there I usually eat two dishes. I have the honey chicken, which is a little sweet and a little spicy, and sometimes a burger. Lately I've had the chicken burger, which is also very solid. I used to try other things, but they weren't anything special. The honey chicken, or a burger with it, is perfectly ok.

The scores

Food 7.5, because it's really good and tasty. The food arrives very fast, so service and atmosphere get an 8, and value 8.5.

Verdict

Čipas isn't the highest quality food, but I think it's really good and that we have nothing like it. Maybe it's a high score for a fast food restaurant, but it's always a safe bet. That's it.
