Some restaurants you visit out of curiosity. Others you return to out of habit. Burgrs in Čengić Vila is the second kind.

My order has been the same for a long time: the Burgrs burger. The taste is so distinctive I'd pick it out blindfolded from a thousand others. It's the only burger I eat.

What makes it special

Jalapeño for the heat, pickled onion to cut through the richness, and slow-roasted onion to round it all out with sweetness. Three layers, each doing its job.

My second order is the chicken burger, and it's one of the best on the market.

The bill

Menus run around 18 to 19 KM. It's pricier, but the quality earns it. Atmosphere and service are a solid seven, but you come here for the burger.

Verdict

I always go back. For me this is the absolute number one in Sarajevo, and beyond.
